Activities


· Managing and managing the overall food supply of the country.


· Implementation of national food policy framework.


· Establishing reliable national food security systems.

· To ensure that market prices of food items are kept stable.


· To ensure the storage and preservation of sufficient quantity of quality food.


· Matters related to food budgeting, accounting and finance, food planning, research and monitoring.


· Ensuring minimum support price for food crops produced by producers.


· To conduct research on any matter assigned to this department.
